Created to encourage children and adults to share their thoughts and feelings, to nourish philosophical and spiritual communication and to nurture emotional connection.

We aim to raise awareness for Orphfund, a life saving and life changing organisation that champions children's wellbeing and welfare throughout the world.

Each book will be made with full environmental considerations and certification, so that it may sit in the hands of children and adults not having cost the earth. Raising awareness for sustainable printing and eco friendly trade and practices will empower children and parents to be part of the solution.

A Girl In The World books choose to maintain and share a simple and meaningful philosophy, that less is more. Visual information overload is a very real issue for our children. The simple story and illustrations ( which can be viewed on website http://www.agirlintheworld.org ) create space, giving children’s eyes and minds a place to rest and their hearts a place to wander.

We encourage children to share their own thoughts, feelings and interpretations of the images and story, and hope to inspire children to be part of the storytelling experience.
